Sushrut Bidwai

Sushrut is a young(?) entrepreneur, in his mid 20s (single ). He comes from technology background with previous experience at Persistent Systems where he was part of the team which developed a CRM product for Fortune 500 client. After spending couple of years there Sushrut moved to take up challenges at a core technology startup YagnaIQ. At Yagna, Sushrut was involved in lot of activities and was core team member.

While working with Yagna, he decided to take entrepreneurial plunge along with his classmates from Engineering. That is his journey before Wissen Systems.

In Wissen Systems, Sushrut is responsible for most of the things except technology! Wissen is also the company behind StartupForStartups which is Reverse Y-combinator facility for early stage technology and tech-enabled startups.

But his most important activity is reading . He is proud collector for over 300+ books (hardcopies) and given a chance can live on reading and eating with out needing anything else to do. Va Pu Kale, Richard Bach, JR Rowling, Mangesh Padgaonkar, Suresh Bhat and Gaalib are considered Gods in world where Sushrut lives.

His other passion is speed. Motorsport, esspecially Formula 1 are faviorites. Right from karting, cycling to Formula 1 and Moto GP everything is basic need. Though now a days he does not get a chance to watch these sports as he has decided to boycott TV.

Currently he is doing what he loves the most and hence is rarely under stress. But uses cooking, playing computer games like Need for Speed, Age of Empire, Stickcricket and Chess as destressing mechanism.

Personal Trivia -

• Claims to have ate 35 Gulab jamuns after having a decent size lunch.
• Every six months makes resolution to gain another 10 killos and ends up loosing a few.
• Keeps 3 pictures of Amrita Rao in his wallet and considers asking her out once he joins multi-million dollar club.
• Has pic of him driving and speed-o-meter reads 155Kmph in his Zen LXI (which he loves a lot by the way).
• Is known by the name Mayank to almost everyone from his childhood and relatives.
• Forgets names and faces and because of this has been in the middle of lot of embarrassing situations.

Lot of interesting things about him are still left unsaid but this is blog is meant for serious discussions about startups, web, technology and entrepreneurship.
